The first annual session of newly formed J&K National conference is held in Baramulla under the Presidentship of its elected president Sardar Budh Singh. Party's new red flag with plough embossed on it, is unfurled. Maulana Mohammad Syed Masoodi's compiled anthem of the flag is also sung for the first time.

The same flag was transformed into the state flag of J&K in 1951 by the constituent assembly, with the addition of three white-vertical strips, representing three geological regions of the state.

Six elected Kashmiri representatives, along with five Muslim leaders chosen by youngmen's Muslim Union of Jammu, meet Maharaja Hari Singh at his palace Lawn's. The delegation on Oct. 21, 1931 presented a memorandum to the Maharaja who accepted it with an expressionless face and said it would be looked into for redressal.
